Iron bisglycinate is a highly efficient form of iron that is 2-4 times better absorbed than iron sulphate. Vitamin C and iron support the normal functioning of the immune system and help in reduction of fatigue and exhaustion. Vitamin C is gentle on the stomach and contributes to the absorption of iron.
The main function of iron is to supply the body with oxygen. Iron supports production of red blood cells and hemoglobin. It is needed to increase resistance to stress and disease.
Iron deficiency is a very common problem that can cause anemia. Symptoms of iron deficiency include irritability, low blood pressure, shortness of breath and fissures in the corners of the mouth.
