Krill are small crustaceans similar to shrimp, tiny aquatic animals that live in large swarms in the purest waters of the world in Antarctica. Krill are beneficial, special, and differ from fish in that they contain marine phospholipids, omega-3 fatty acids and the antioxidant astaxanthin.
The omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are crucial in the regeneration of new cells and indispensable for the appropriate function of almost all our organs. Krill oil contains these fatty acids in the form of marine phospholipids that makes krill oil a source of omega-3 that is easily recognised and absorbed by the cells of the human body. In addition, Krill oil contains natural antioxidant astaxanthin, which the krill get by feeding on red algae.
Directions
Take 1 capsule a day, or as recommended by your physician.
