The root of the Maca plant originates in the high mountains of Peru and has historically been an important part of the menu of the ancient Incas. Maca has many useful nutrients such as Omega 3 and Omega 9 fatty acids, amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
iConfit Maca root is first cleaned, dried at low temperature to preserve all nutrients. After drying, the roots are ground and sieved to achieve a uniformly high quality.
